About Us

Hello, my name is Paul Lucier. I have worked in the computer industry for 46 years as a computer software engineer. I have authored CD/DVD recordable software device drivers for Windows, I have been a member of the ANSI committee defining the architecture of recordable CD and DVDs, I have also spent years troubleshooting complex computer systems, as well as had the privilege of training teams of engineers by breaking down complex material into relatable terms.

I also love of working with my hands; designing and building wood projects, doing my own electrical work following NEC standards, as well as plumbing and interior finish work.

I have enjoyed camping with my family as far back as I can recall and I’ve owned, fixed and, being an engineer, “pimped” my RVs, as well as my friend’s RVs, since 2003. My latest endeavor was to add solar to my rig and I’m looking forward to adding “more” to that.

I continue to read numerous RV related articles, watch tons of YouTube videos and figure out how RV systems work the hard way. I’ve also learned that a number of YouTube videos are only as good as the people producing those videos and unfortunately, a number of them are simply wrong. But, how does one really know?

That is why I attended the Nation RV Training Academy and became a Registered RV Technician, to learn the proper way to diagnose and fix common issues. As well as getting myself plugged in to a team of RV technicians to consult with. Now I want to help others learn about their RVs.
